Day 2 - Cairo:(B,L,) The great Pyramids of Giza - the Sphinx and Valley Temple. Option for entry in a small Pyramid and a Camel ride (approx 40 mins) $42 US per person Optional Evening Nile Dinner Cruise $48 US Per Person Day 3 - Cairo: (B,L) After breakfast transfer to the airport for a flight to Aswan. On arrival visit the High Dam a modern wonder built to prevent Nile Flooding, the Philae Temple of Isis and the unfinished Obelisk. Overnight in Aswan. Day 4 - Aswan - Abu Simbul (B,L,D) Trip to Abu Simbul by road (3 hours each way) to see the great temple of Ramses and Queen Nefertari. Check into the Nile Cruise for overnight Day 5 - Aswan: (B,L,D) Relax while sailing towards Luxor. 2 stops to visit the Kom Ombo and Edfu Temples. Overnight on the Cruise. Day 6 - Luxor: (B,L,D) Arrive in Luxor and after breakfast visit the Valley of the Kings (3 tombs, the Temple of Queen Hatshipsuit and The Colossi of Memnon. Overnight on the Nile Cruise. Optional Sound and Light show at the Karnak temple $36 US Per Person Day 7 - Luxor: (B,L) After breakfast check out of the Nile Cruise then visit the Luxor and Karnak Temples. Check into your hotel in Luxor for overnight. Day 8 - Luxor - Dendara/Abydos (B,L) Today after breakfast depart for the Temples of Abydos and Dendara (temple of Hathor, Goddess of love and music in Ancient Egypt). (4 hours each way by road) Return to hotel for last night in Luxor. Opportunity to stroll the markets of Luxor. Day 9 - Luxor - Hurghada:(B) After breakfast transfer to Hurghada by air-conditioned bus or van(3-4 hours drive). The rest of day is free at leisure. Overnight in Hurghada. Day 10/11- Hurghada:(B) Free at leisure in Hurghada. Options for Water Sports, Diving, Scuba, snorkeling & Safari tours to a Bedouin Camp are available upon request. Overnights in Hurghada. Day 12 - Hurghada - Sharm El Sheik (B) After breakfast transfer to the airport for a flight to Sharm El Sheikh via Cairo. Transfer to Hotel. Rest of day at leisure. Daytrip Options from Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh: 1. Bedouin Safari Trip - Afternoon/Evening trip to a Bedouin Camp, Ride the Dunes in a 4x4, Camel ride and enjoy a genuine Dinner with entertainment - $42 US per person 2. Alf Fa Leila Wa Leila Folklore Show - Enjoy an evening of local entertainment with Arabic Horses - $36 US per person 3. Boat Trip - Daytrip out on the Red Sea for snorkeling , diving or swimming or just enjoy watching the fish around the coral reefs through the clear blue water. Fresh fish lunch onboard. - $48 US per person. Day 13/14 - Sharm El Sheik (B) Free at leisure in Sharm El Sheik. Options for Diving, Scuba, snorkeling & Safari tours are available upon request. Day 15 - Sharm - St. Catherine's (B,D) Travel to St. Catherine's (3 hours drive) Check in our hotel for dinner and an early rest before rising around 1am to climb Mount Sinai where Moses received the Ten Commandments to see the sunrise. St. Catherines Monastery is Closed on fridays and Sundays plus the Religious Holidays like Xmas. How difficult is it the climb at St Catherines? It takes about 3-4 hours to climb the 7,498-foot peak following the Path of Moses, a stairway of nearly 4,000 steps. If your prefer you can experience a walk for an hour and enjoy the sunset then return to the Hotel. We recommend bringing a Flashlight. If you prefer you can rent a camel instead of walking up the mountain. It takes approx 4 hours and is $48 US per person Day 16 - St. Catherine's - Cairo (B) Aftr breakfast visit the famous Monastery of St. Catherine's(if open that day) before driving back to Sharm and transfering to the airport for your flight to Cairo. Transfer to Hotel in Cairo. Day 17 - Cairo (B,L) A day visit to the Egyptian Museum (2 hours guided the rest of the time to explore on your own). Optional Evening sound and light show at Giza $48 US Per Person Optional entry to the Mummies room at the Museum $20 US Per Person Day 18 - Cairo - Alexandria: (B,L) The Roman Amphitheatre, the Catacombs, the National Museum, the Citadel. Visit the new Bibliotheca (library) before a late lunch and return to Cairo. (3 Hours each way by Road) Day 19 - Cairo: Sakkara & Memphis (B,L) Sakkara - the Step Pyramid of Zoser and surrounding complex of tombs. Memphis the ancient capital - statue of Ramses II and Alabaster Sphinx. A short stop at a carpet school to witness the beautiful silk carpets and woven wall-hangings made by the children. Overnoight in Cairo. Day 20 - Cairo - Home: (B,L) After breakfast a visit to Islamic Cairo - the Citadel, the Alabaster Mosque and Palace,The Khan El Khalili Bazaar, Coptic Cairo - see some of the oldest churches in Christianity - overnight in Cairo. Day 21 - Cairo - Home: (B) Airport transfer for safe international departure home.
